
The museum is 26 Kms./16 Miles away from Adana and is on the historical Silk Road between Adana and Ceyhan State Road. Amongst the exhibited pieces, the are remainings from a Byzantine Church in Misis. This artifact was explored by Prof. Dr. H. Theodor Bossert and Dr. Ludwig Budde, of the German Archeology Team who worked at Misis Tell in 1956.
In the center of the mosaic picture, there's a animal cage looks like a small table and, around it, 23 birds and cage animals and around them the wild or domestic animals which were on Noah's Arc. This artifact dates to the 4th century AD.
In the museum, other artifacts explored as result of excavations performed at the Misis Tell are displayed as well.
