Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Burdur, İzmir ve Muğla provinces are the places where it is produced. It has a special strong odor and taste. It is prepared and drunk like tea and is good for stomach and intestine disturbances. Lately, its is also used for cold disturbances.

The flowers of Matricaria chamomilla L. specy dried in shade. Daisies are short like 20-50 cms./8-20 inches tall, with multy-branches and an annual plant. According to the inscriptions, the name is derived from Greek words Chamos (Place or ground) and Melos (Apple) and was used to prepare medicines during the ancient Egypt, Greek and Roman eras. This plant was also mentioned in the records of Hippocrates, Dioskorides and Galen. It is known that it has tranquilant effect.

This wild rose looking plant's fruit is dried and used as tea. This plant is 1.5 – 3.5 m (4-15 feet) high, with thorny branches hanging down. The flowers are white or pink. Naturally grown in Europe and Northern Africa. It is widely spread in Anatolia (Turkey) and ripens in Falls (Autumns) and is preferred since it contains Vitamin C.

This annual plant can go as high as 60 cm (24 inches) and the needle leaves can be of several parts and the yellow flowers resemble the umbrellas. Naturally seen in Russia and in the Mediterranean Region. It helps the cramps on the stomach muscles to dissolve.

The tree which is seen at the coast of Mediterranean Region of Turkey. The liquid of this tree is used to stabilize the lotions.

The dried roots of Zingiber officinale Roscoe specy. This type is about 100 cms./39 inches tall, looks like a cane and is multi-annual plant. The origin of the ginger is southern Asia and there are records that this plant was used as medicine according to the medical records of ancient Sanscrite, Chinese, Greek, Roman, and Arabic inscriptions.

This plant can be found in the western part of Turkey and since it does not have seeds, the plant is produced by means of its root.

They are naturally produced in the Mediterranean Region and in Portugal. Tarsus, Adana, İskenderun are the places where it is produced. It is planted as decorative flower in the gardens. Rosemary is in use since the historical ages as tonic and stimulant; and during the Ancient Greek Eras, it was used as medicine to increase the memory and concentration and also used as a crown for the scholars. It should not be used excessively as it is known that it has side effects.
